BATH, NY – Steuben County legislative officials say that the recent public auction sale of 61 foreclosed parcels made $760,000, before deducting $419,000 in back taxes owed, netting Steuben County’s General Fund nearly $341,000.
According to Steuben County finance commissioner Pat Donnelly, the sale, held July 11 at Campbell-Savona High School, was one of the smallest in recent history.
