December 16, 2019

BATH, NY – The Steuben County Legislature voted today, to spend $5,000,000, to construct a new county courtroom, inside the same county building in Bath. It was a unanimous vote. County Majority Leader Gary Swackhamer (R, Hornell) says that this will take three to five years to do.

In other matter, the county will be buying three office buildings, one in Bath, one in Hornell, and one in Corning, the offices, up to this point, have been leased to Steuben County. These offices will be used for the Steuben County Mental Health Dept.
