RGE Beefs Up Security
Some congressmen are saying it is one of the most dangerous threats our nation has ever faced— the armed attack ten months ago on an electric substation in California’s Silicon Valley. Now, Rochester Gas and Electric is beefing up security around its facilities following a blockbuster story in the Wall St. Journal last week about the attack in California which many consider a preview of coming terrorist activities.
It is believed other electric providers are also taking extra precautions in the wake of the story which had been ignored for ten months.
