STEUBEN COUNTY, NY – Over the weekend, the National Weather Service announced that Steuben County was part of a Flood Watch that goes until tomorrow. However, Meteorologist Rob Carolan says, the worst of the rain will be east of Steuben County. “The heavy rain is off to our east,” Carolan said this morning. “It looks like it’s going to hit Elmira, Ithaca and Syracuse hard, and in the Catskills and Adirondacks. Steuben County will get hit with scattered showers on the backside of the system, but the really heavy rain will be to our east,” Carolan said.
