HORSEHEADS: Robert L. Schaumberg, 70, passed away Thursday (August 3, 2017) at Able 2 Adult Care Facility after a long illness.
Robert was born October 15, 1946 in Hornell to Robert L. and Lois I. (Cook) Schaumberg Berry.
He is survived by a sister Linda Schaumberg (Albert) Clutter of Florida, two brothers, Stephen (Mary) Schaumberg and Michael (Denise) Schaumberg all of Canisteo as well as several nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by a brother Ronald Schaumberg in 2013.
At the family’s request, there will be no services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Rural Cemetery, Hornell, NY.
Memorial contributions in Robert’s name may be made to the Canisteo American Legion, 61 West Main St. Canisteo, N.Y. 14823 or to your local animal shelter.
