Rochester Woman Pleaded Guilty To Selling Drugs, In Fatal Overdose Case in Greenwood

BATH, NY – Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker says that Nancy Alvarez, 59, of Rochester, has pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide for the selling fentanyl laced heroin, that killed Dana Crittendon, 50, Greenwood, in August of 2017.

D.A. Baker, who makes it a point to be tough on drug dealers involved in fatal overdoses, charged Alvarez with homicide. He noted that the Dana Crittendon case was one of an increasing number of tragic deaths linked to the opiod epidemic.
