Democrat U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer did a video chat with some California Semiconductor Industry leaders last week, to see if he can get them to invest in businesses in New York State. That’s according to the New York Times. The Times notes in their story that Schumer is a longtime critic of China on this issue, and the Times reports that Schumer is working to decrease American reliance on China.
