WASHINGTON DC – Politico.com reports that Senator Chuck Schumer is furious that the Capitol Police in Washington D.C. ordered the National Guard to leave the Capitol building yesterday afternoon and go sleep in parking garages. Schumer said this was “outrageous” and he is going to get to the bottom of this. Some hours after Schumer started to protest this decision by Capitol Police, the National Guard was sent back from the parking garages to the Capitol building.
