BIG FLATS, NY – Appearing on the Newsmaker Show this morning, State Senator Tom O’Mara criticized the state legislature for creating numerous new committees, that O’Mara believes will have too much power. “It’s passing the buck on very important issues, and very costly issues,” O’Mara said. “That will ultimately cost the taxpayers a lot (of money) in New York State, with the findings they (state committees) come out with and acting with the force of law, will be automatically implemented by the state agencies, no matter what the cost,” O’Mara told Brian O’Neil on the Newsmaker Show.
