HORNELL, NY – Severe rains hit the area in the 5pm hour on Thursday, creating flooding problems for some and leaving some trees and branches down and several traffic lights knocked both out and actually down from where they were originally hanging.
Trees are down on Route 36 in Hornell, Dennis Avenue, Elm Street and Maple Streets in Hornell.
There is a video circulating locally, of a local youth in a Kayak, in the Elm Street area.
As of this posting there are also still power outages in both Corning and Caton.
