Alleged Steel Scrap Thieves Charged

WAYLAND, NY – Officials with the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office are reporting that three suspects are accused of stealing steel scrap from a gravel pit area in Wayland. Officials say Robert Perry, 29, of Wayland, Steven Zeh, 19, of Fremont, and a 17 year old male whose name has been withheld, are charged with trespass, criminal mischief and petit larceny.
