Break-In At Residence In Canisteo

CANISTEO, NY – There was a break-in and a chase in Canisteo over the weekend. The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reports that Jacob Fronk, 22, of Hornellsville, just got out of Steuben County Jail, and is accused of entering a residence. He was reportedly discovered at 7am on Sunday morning. When officials from the sheriff’s department arrived on the scene, they say Fronk took off on foot and led deputies on a chase, which officials say lasted about 10 minutes.
Fronk was remanded to Steuben County Jail, $25,000 bail.
