ALFRED, NY – If you were in Alfred on Saturday night in the 7pm hour, you would have heard a lot of fire truck sirens.
That’s because the Alfred-Almond boys varsity track team won their 5th consecutive sectional championship.
Also, the Alfred-Almond girls varsity track team came in second place.
School Superintendent Rich Calkins says he’s just proud of all the Alfred-Almond athletes and coaches and he appreciates the support from the community.
