Six Members Of The U.S. Military Were Killed In Western Iraq

Senators Schumer and Gillibrand issued statements saying that they were devastated to learn about the deaths of six members of the U.S. Military in Iraq on Thursday. From Senator Chuck Schumer: “I am devastated to learn of the deaths of six crew members aboard a U.S. Air Force refueling aircraft that went down in western Iraq yesterday. There is no greater sacrifice than that which these brave airmen gave to our country. I am grieving with their families for this unthinkable loss. They are all heroes and will be remembered as such. May their memories be a blessing.”
From Senator Gillibrand: “I am heartbroken by the loss of six service members in the KC-135 crash over western Iraq yesterday. I am praying for them and their families.”
