Small Biz Administration Is In Woodhull, This Week

February 7, 2022

From The Small Business Administration:

Residents of several Southern Tier counties* whose homes or businesses were damaged by last summer’s Tropical Storm Fred have only a few days left to get personal help filling out an application for a low-interest federal disaster loan to help pay for the damages.

Representatives of the U.S. Small Business Administration will be at Woodhull Town Hall from Monday through Thursday of this week starting at 8 a.m. each day to help people complete and submit their applications, or to answer any questions they might have. Importantly, ANYONE damaged by the storm is eligible to submit an application, whether they are homeowners, renters, business owners or a nonprofit organization.

Applications can also be submitted online at DisasterLoanAssistance.sba.gov by the filing deadline of March 21.

If repairs have already been made, loan funds can be used to pay off higher-interest rate loans or credit card charges used for those repairs.
