Spectrum News and other media outlets in Western New York are reporting that U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer was in Wayne County recently, talking about a street drug which has a skin-rotting side effect. “It’s a terrifying drug,” said U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer. “These evil drug traffickers who are always figuring out ways to hurt our kids and our people have figured out that when you lace xylazine with fentanyl or heroin or some other drug the high is even greater. [It’s] a drug [that] when injected can cause severe wounds in the skin all the way to the bone,” Schumer was quoted as saying in Wayne County.
