Stabbing In Allegany County

FRIENDSHIP, NY – State Police are releasing information about a stabbing incident that happened on Sunday morning at about 3 am in the Allegany County Town of Friendship, when a a 25 year old male victim was stabbed once in his back.
According to State Police, there was a three man fight, and during the altercation, Sean Raybon, 25, Wellsville, used a small pocket knife to stab the victim once in the back. Raybon and the third male were treated at the scene for minor injuries by Amity and Friendship rescue personnel.
Raybon was charged with assault in the 2nd degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th degree.
Raybon was arraigned in the Town of Friendship court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail.
