STATEMENT FROM NYS DEMOCRATIC CHAIRMAN ON NY GOP CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION VOTING NO TO JAN 6TH INVESTIGATION
NASSAU COUNTY, NY: New York State Democratic Chairman Jay S. Jacobs has released the following statement:
“The decision today by the NY Congressional GOP delegation including presumptive NY Gubernatorial Candidate Lee Zeldin to vote against a Select Committee to investigate the insurrection on Jan 6th is irresponsible and cowardly. Every single member who voted no against this committee has demonstrated that their fealty to Trump supersedes their love of country. If Lee Zeldin wants to be a leader he should start by acting like one.”
