HORNELL, NY – From Hornell School Superintendent Jeremy Palotti:
“Today there was a situation in the cafeteria where a student became upset at other students. Administrators and lunch supervisors were present and the SRO was dispatched. There was no credible threat to anyone. At no time was anyone in any danger. Rather, a student became upset towards a few other students and used some poor word choice in expressing their anger.
“Parents should be assured that students are safe. If they have questions or concerns they can call the High School Main Office or the District Office.”
