Steuben Co. Election Board: What Happens With The Tuesday Primary

September 9, 2016

BATH, NY – Steuben County GOP Election Commissioner Vicki Olin has issued the following statement:

With the recent passing of Bill Nojay many of you may have questions in regards to the Republican Primary Election on Tuesday September 13th. The primary will still take place in the 133rd Assembly District and Bill Nojay’s name will still appear on Tuesday’s Republican primary ballot. If he wins, Republican Party leaders in the three-county district will nominate a replacement for the November ballot.
Nojay has also secured the Conservative, Independence and Reform party lines for the November General Election. Those parties will also pick a new candidate for the Nov. 8 general election.
