Steuben Co Man, Facing Numerous Charges, Including Criminal Possession Of A Weapon

FROM STEUBEN CO SHERIFF ALLARD: Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that on November 14, 2024, Deputies of the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kevin J. Metarko, Jr., age 40 of County Route 3, Addison, New York, following an investigation of a woman reported being in distress on CR3. It is alleged that Mr. Metarko threatened another person with a loaded firearm, damaged property, choked and caused physical injury to another person. Mr. Metarko was charged with Assault in the Third Degree, Menacing in the Second Degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, a class E Felony and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a class C Felony. Mr.
