The Steuben County Department of Public Works has several summer job openings available. The work primarily involves flagging and laboring for construction crews along County roads. Applications can be found on the Steuben County website, or interested persons can call the Department of Public Works at 607-664-2470 for more information. Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess a valid New York State driver’s license. No prior experience is required. Applications are due by April 13, 2026.
