FROM SHERIFF JIM ALLARD: “Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports the final walkout of Criminal Investigator Marcus Smith from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office upon the conclusion of a thirty-year police career. Marcus served in the ranks of Deputy Sheriff, Sergeant, First Sergeant, CIRT Commander and Criminal Investigator. Members of several police agencies, friends and family all joined in thanking Investigator Smith for his service and wished him well in his future endeavors!
