Tammy Leah Flint, of Hornell

HORNELL-Tammy Leah Flint, 55, of Pine St., passed away Sunday (December 18, 2016) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Born in Hornell, December 19, 1960, the daughter of Elijah and Barbara (Kull) Flint, she had resided in the Hornell area most of her life except for a brief period of time when she lived in Rochester and the Farmington area. Tammy was a graduate of the Hornell High School, Class of 1979. After high school she attended Nazareth College and Wilma Boyd Travel School, she then moved to Canisteo and owned and operated Tammy’s Travel Agency.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Walter and Leah Kull, her paternal grandparents, Earl and Marie Flint as well as several Aunts and Uncles and her beloved dog Nella Bean.

She is survived by her parents, Elijah “Red” and Barbara Flint of Hornell, a daughter, Sadie Flint Bouman of Hornell, a half-brother Richard Flint of Pa. as well as several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends on Monday (Dec. 26, 2016) from 4-7PM , at the Bender – Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday (Dec. 27, 2016) at 10:30AM at St. Ann Church 27 Erie Ave. Hornell, NY 14843. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery.
