Morgan Abeel, 18, of Bath, was recently charged by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department for allegedly robbing a motel in Erwin, and is now being charged by Bath Police. Now Abeel is accused of criminal contempt in the second degree and 3rd degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Bath Police say, the sheriff’s department is holding Abeel in custody right now. Also, Bath Police are charging 22 year old Liberty Ferris of Bath with 2nd degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Ferris was ticketed and released. Bath Police Chief Colin Taft also says, there may be more charges against both Liberty Ferris and Morgan Abeel, as a lot of drugs were uncovered in these arrests. Over $4,000 worth.
