GOP Congresswoman Claudia Tenney says she urges the Biden Administration to – following the recent prisoner swap between Russia and the US to continue working to get more Americans freed, like Dansville resident Ryan Corbett, who has been a hostage for two years in Afghanistan.

“It is a joyous day for the political prisoners detained by the Kremlin who have suffered under this cruel regime. We are all eager to welcome these Americans—and many other innocent prisoners—home.
“However, this lopsided prisoner swap sets a dangerous precedent where innocent American citizens will be at risk and potentially used as bargaining chips in exchange for dangerous criminals.
“Additionally, I urge the Biden administration to continue working diligently to bring home Americans held unjustly abroad to their families, including my constituent Ryan Corbett.”
