YATES COUNTY, NY – Local sports announcer Frank Williams reports that Jasper-Troupsburg coach Tom Price, was killed in a one-car accident on State Route 14A, just north of Baker Road in the town of Milo Sunday afternoon. Price was traveling south when his car went off the west side of the road and struck the end of the guardrail head on. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Frank Williams describes Price as a longtime friend and basketball and baseball coach at Jasper-Troupsburg Central School. “He will be missed,” Williams said on his morning sports report today.
