The Crime Situation In Rochester

Rochester Police are reporting that they have a staffing shortage. Also, the RPD are going to be relying more on New York State Troopers and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, for assistance in getting extra patrols out there. Rochester

Police say there has been a big increase in shootings and they want extra patrols there.

On Friday, a suspect who was out on parole, is alleged to have fired a shot at a Rochester Police Officer, missing the officer and striking a bullet into a part of the building nearby.
