The Dansville Gliders scored four runs in the 8th to force a game three of the NYCBL Western Division Championships with a 5-3 win on Thursday afternoon. Then, the Dansville Gliders used a seven-run 3rd inning to take control of game three of the Western Division Championship series en route to a 14-9 victory.
The Gliders advance to the NYCBL Championship vs. the Syracuse Salt Cats.
Hornell finishes the season 30-9-1. The team had their 17 game winning streak snapped in game two of the series.
Dansville will host game one of the NYCBL finals today at Babcock Park at 4 p.m.
