The Lincoln Gardens – Coming Soon

HORNELL N.Y. – The City of Hornell held a special meeting of the Common Council to adopt a resolution for the reuse of the former Lincoln Elementary school into an affordable housing unit for seniors.

The “Lincoln Gardens” has the goal of placing moderate to low income housing for those 55 years of age, and higher as well as seniors with physical disabilities in Hornell.

Mayor Hogan along with city officials are actively pursuing vacant or underutilized properties and returning them to vitality and placing them back on the city tax rolls.
