STATEMENT FROM CANISTEO MAYOR RICK McINROY, ABOUT THE CANISTEO POLICE CHIEF KYLE AMIDON: “I have spoken with the special prosecutor, D.A. Fazzary from Schuyler County. He told me that the New York State Police have completed their investigation, and he has been in discussions with the U.S. Attorneys Office and Kyle Amidon’s attorney. He is working to bring a resolution to this case and understands the stakes involved. He anticipates that he will be having further discussions with Kyle Amidon’s attorney within the next two weeks.”
