Coming up this Saturday in the Steuben County town of Thurston, they’ll be celebrating the America 250 event. There will be a parade with lineup at 10 a.m. Saturday near the Volino House area. There will be ATV riders at this parade and tractors, fire trucks, and pets. Also Saturday at the America 250 event in Thurston, there will be a community picnic that will start at 11 a.m. Saturday and go till 3 p.m. At 2:30, there will be all kinds of games for both adults and children. That’s the America 250 Day event in Thurston, a Steuben County Town that was founded back in 1844<./strong>
