The United Way of the Southern Tier will be holding an awards ceremony, honoring several individuals and organizations. Honorees will include John and Bobbie Ullman, as the United Way says the Ullmans have contributed over a million dollars to the youth, education and science and arts and culture. Also being honored by the United Way are: Corning Incorporated, Horseheads Central retired reading teacher Patty Howe and the Corning Credit Union, for supporting the United Way’s efforts in donation drives and the Keuka Charity Ride. The event will take place on Thursday April 30th at the Corning Museum of Glass. Tickets for this dinner are $80.00 each.
