CANISTEO, NY – We are still waiting to find out who won the Canisteo Town Supervisor’s race on election night, Tuesday, November 7. There were 28 write in votes and Steuben County board of election officials say, the votes will be counted before the week is over. Canisteo Town Supervisor Jason Woodworth did not seek reelection, and it’s anybody’s guess as to who will be the winner, when the 28 write in votes are counted.
In other Canisteo news, Lorretta Whatcott has been named to the Canisteo Village planning board.
