There was a fire in Arkport on Saturday night. Arkport Volunteer Fire Chief Dwight Smith says, it was a brush fire on Haight Hill and the fire was contained to the owner’s property. The Arkport Fire Chief also says it was a controlled burn that got out of control. Mutual aid came in from the North Hornell Volunteer Fire Department. Firefighters were there for about one and a half hours.
We also have reports about a tractor fire in Prattsburgh that turned into a brush fire too.
No other details are out yet.
