BATH, NY – Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports that the sheriff’s department and U.S. Marshalls, checked out over 250 listed sex offender’s addresses recently. The sheriff says that out of the 250 registered sex offenders, three were arrested for failing to notify officials that they have moved. “All three were charged with violating New York State Corrections Law section 168, failure to register or verify, a class E felony. All three were arraigned in Bath Town Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail,” Allard stated.
