Western New York billionaire Tom Golisano is giving away millions of dollars this week.
Yesterday, it was announced that Tom Golisano gave $5 million dollars to Alfred State College and $1.5 million dollars to the Hornell Humane Society.
He’s also giving $1.5 million dollars to humane societies in Yates and Chemung Counties, and also to the Finger Lakes SPCA.
“Tom Golisano has built an amazing career after his time at Alfred State, and this gift is a game changer and will help so many future Pioneers,” said Alfred State President Dr. Steve Mauro. “We are honored and beyond grateful that he thought so much of his alma mater to include us in this huge commitment to our area.”
