The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch, which is in effect through this afternoon for much of western and central New York, including Steuben, Allegany and Livingston Counties.
Our weatherman says showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast, some storms could be locally severe, with gusty, damaging winds, hail, heavy downpours and maybe an isolated tornado.
