Tractor And Machinery Training For Teens In Allegany County

FROM STATE SENATOR GEORGE BORRELLO: Attention all youth aged 14-16 in Allegany County!
The 4-H and FFA Tractor & Machinery Certification Program is being offered this June. State law mandates that all 14-16-year-olds must be certified before operating farm tractors and machinery. Cornell Cooperative Extension Allegany County, along with the local Vo-Ag Instructors, is facilitating this essential training program.
The training will take place at two locations: 5435 County Rd 48, Belmont, NY (Cooperative Extension Center) on June 14th from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and 5476 Rt. 305, Cuba, NY (Cuba-Rushford High School) on June 19th and 21st from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Please note, all participants must attend all three sessions to receive certification. The pre-registration deadline is Friday, May 31st, and the cost is $20.00.
