Last night (9-24-19), at a special Village Board Meeting, the North Hornell Village Board of Trustees amended a local law to read:
prohibited (sic) all commercial trucks at or over 5 Ton, except for local delivery or pick-up of merchandise, to perform local service or to obtain vehicle service available in the village.
By the end of the workday this Friday (9-27-19) the Village DPW will complete the installation of the required traffic signs at the appropriate locations. At that time, the Village will initiate the enforcement of that local law.
