Fatal Accident in Allegany County

GENESEE, NY – State Police are reporting that on December 13, at approximately 3:30 in the afternoon, troopers were dispatched to a serious one car motor vehicle accident on County Route 5 in the Town of Genesee.
According to state police, after initial investigation, it was determined that Kolby Geffers, 17, of Bolivar was operating his 2002 Dodge Stratus west on County Route 5 in the Town of Genesee. The vehicle left the roadway off the north shoulder and struck a tree. Kolby Geffers was pronounced deceased by the Allegany County Coroner.
