ALLEGANY COUNTY, NY – State Police report that early on Saturday morning, at about 2:32AM, there was a crash at a home at 323 Evans Street in the Village of Richburg.
Officials with the State Police in Amity say that upon arrival, Troopers observed a red pick-up truck which struck a house off the west shoulder of the roadway. Troopers identified the driver, RRichard B. Sexton, 47 of Bolivar, who they say was still seated in the driver’s seat, when they arrived.
Troopers say that Sexton appeared to be intoxicated. He was transported to Olean General Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident and consented to blood test to determine the level of alcohol present in his blood. Charges are pending the results of a toxicology exam.
