State Police report the arrest of two alleged drug dealers coming in from Rochester on Tuesday. State Troopers say both suspects were in cars that had lots of drugs, both were pulled over within minutes of each other: one in Springwater and one in Wayland. The two men are suspected of bringing drugs out of Rochester, into smaller towns.
The suspects are: Andrew Bell, 39, Rochester. Bell is accused of possession of crack cocaine, heroine and cocaine. The charges against Bell are three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, with intent to sell. Bell was arraigned in North Dansville Court and remanded to Livingston County Jail without bail.
The other suspect, Rashard Witcher, Rochester, is alleged to have had a vehicle that had Oxycodone pills, heroin and crack cocaine, packaged for individual sale. The charges against Witcher are four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, in two of those counts – with intent to sell. Witcher was arraigned in Wayland Court and remanded to Steuben County Jail, $100,000 bail.
Officials say that State Police BCI, as well as troopers from numerous barracks and Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker, aided in this investigation.
