State Police are investigating an incident involving a school bus.
State Troopers report that a student from Avoca Central School was dragged by a school bus for a quarter of a mile on Tuesday afternoon at about 3:30. At some point, the bus driver realized that the student was hung up on the school bus door, by her book bag.
According to State Police, the dragging incident happened on County Route 55 in Fremont.
The student was treated for minor foot injuries.
