New York State Police have announced that their six day traffic enforcement campaign started today. It’s called Fall Safe Speed and runs through Sunday September 27. Troopers say they will be out, in both marked and unmarked vehicles. State Police also say that speeding drivers cause nearly one third of all fatal crashes in New York State.
Officials with the New York State Police also say in 2024, there were 315 fatal accidents and over 12,000 people were injured in these incidents.
