TUSCARORA, NY – The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department is reporting that Randy Burdick, 37, of Tuscarora. is accused of firing a shot at two deputies yesterday.
Officials say that the single shot was aimed between two deputy vehicles, after the two deputies showed up to investigate a complaint call about a man walking around with a flashlight. Three minutes after the shot was fired, the suspect was apprehended while trying to leave the scene in a vehicle.
There were no injuries, but Burdick is in Steuben County Jail, $100,000 bail.
