Mayor John Buckley, with newly appointed firefighters Chad Hancock and Mike Robbins yesterday, after the two were named to the Hornell Fire Dept by the Hornell City Hall Public Saftey Committee.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mike and Chad to the Hornell Fire Department. They both have extensive experience with the Village of North Hornell Volunteer Fire Department. Mike and Chad were ranked as the top two candidates on the Civil Service test and both interviewed extremely well.”
“The addition of Mike and Chad is an investment in our fire department and in our community for years to come.”
Both new firefighters hold EMT certifications.
