Unattended Death And A Fatal Accident In Cameron

STEUBEN COUNTY, NY – State Police report that a 19 year old from Elk County Pennsylvania, Tessa Updyke of Kersey PA, was killed when she was ejected from a vehicle in an accident yesterday morning in Cameron, after the vehicle flipped several times. State Police say that Tessa Updyke’s body is being taken to Broome County for an autopsy. The accident was reported by a passenger who was inside the vehicle at the time of the accident, Creo Babcock, 17, of Cameron. Babcock was said to have extricated herself from the vehicle.

Also, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office got a call about a body being found in the town of Cameron, the body was identified as 33 year old James Stage Jr., of Cameron, who was found dead in a pond there. Officials say that an autopsy is going to be done at in Broome County.
