In October 2019, there was a fatal DWI in the Town of Pulteney. Dustin Drake of Prattsburgh was the driver. Four passengers died as a result of a car crashing into a tree. Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker says, there are four 2nd degree murder charges against Drake, because of the graphic nature of this fatal DWI.
