Steuben County District Attorney Brooks Baker says there was a Huntley Hearing on Friday in county court, in front of Judge Phil Roche. The hearing was requested the defense attorney for Avoca shooting suspect Terry Long. Long is accused of shooting a person in the third week of December in Avoca.
Huntley Hearings are done to determine if the defendants statements to police, are admissible in trial.
There was no decision as of Friday, from Judge Roche on that case.
